As we begin this year, we are grateful for the community and our membership focusing on humanity and our opportunity to help us all become better. To that end, we thank our DEIJ Task Force 1 for the work completed in the first half of 2021. Their proposal to build a new task force, focused on embedding DEIJ in ICF, and including a new role of Director of DEIJ, has been accepted and acted upon. Our new director of DEIJ, LaKisha Brooks, joined the team on January 4. Welcome, LaKisha!
We will also be building out our global task force under the leadership of Sackeena Gordon-Jones, MCC. Stay tuned! We want to include your voices and participation so that we can create a more just, diverse, equitable and inclusive coaching ecosystem.
