The future of work will require people to adaptively learn through continuous digital leaps, purposefully progress in the face of uncertainty, and lead themselves and others through dynamic change. As coaches, you are in a unique position to support your clients to be successful in navigating changes.
To support our members, ICF and the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) have created a joint task force to explore how the professions of coaching and change management can collaborate to create new value. Through this partnership, ICF and ACMP have generated new thought leadership exploring what coaching can bring to organizational change, and what change management profession can bring to coaching.
ICF and ACMP have been proactively exploring the overlap between change management and coaching. The goals of this collaboration are to:
- Explore how these two professions complement and intersect with each other.
- Expand the recognition of both professions, including appreciation of, knowledge of, demand for, and certification available.
- Create value for members in both organizations that we serve.
Already, ICF and ACMP have generated new thought leadership exploring what coaching can bring to organizational change and what change management profession can bring to coaching.
These ideas will be presented to members through the webinar series, The Power of Both: ACMP and ICF Insights. We invite you to join us for the first in the series, What Organizational Change Can Leverage from Professional Coaching on March 21 at 12 Noon (New York).
