ICF is committed to leading in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) in the coaching profession. As we work toward a world where everyone thrives, we feel it is important to examine our own membership.
Last year, we randomly selected 23,700 ICF members to respond to a survey measuring their sense of belonging at ICF. We received over 1,800 responses — a 7.5% response rate. Key findings include:
- Members who identified as millennials were the most interested in DEIB work.
- Members who identified as Gen X were interested in seeing more diversity in chapter leadership roles.
- Groups who identified as indigenous or other were most interested in seeing more open communication and collaboration from ICF Global.
We have compiled additional key findings into the Member Belonging Survey Key Findings Report. To view the exact response rates, please access the ICF State of Diversity white paper.
